Location is excellent and the price is very reasonable and affordable. The facilities are exceptionally clean and well-maintained and the staff are always very kind, friendly, and helpful. ❤ This is not a new and fancy hotel and that is a big reason why I love it so much. It has style and charm and though it is not "new", everything still works perfectly. Appropriate updates have obviously been implemented by the property management/building owners (thank you) to ensure the facilities are safe and healthy for human habitation. The washroom has been updated and there are no plumbing issues whatsoever; the water pressure and hot water supply are always excellent. The windows have been updated and the heat works great. The room stays nice and warm, which is super important because I'm always cold unless I am walking around or it's above 25°C/77°F, lol!

First and foremost the room was clean and updated. A standard size room.Big enough for two.( It could possibly sleep three.I didn't check this but I'm thinking the small couch in the room was a single hide-a-bed.Dont quote me on that ) The room had a mini- fridge which was handy and had a large modernized shower.( No bathtub which was fine by us) If it had a microwave it would have been the bomb. Despite this, its still a real gem and the location is superb. At $116 taxes in it was an incredible deal. Even the crap hostels in the downtown were more expensive. We will definitely return at this price.. Do yourself a favor and book this place .You won't regret it.

excellent location easily reachable by the city centre skytrain stop. 15-20 min walk with suitcases through shopping area. The staff were excellent in accommodating us, even changing our room to one at the back as we were an older couple. easy walking distance to most city centre attractions and events. The hotel may be a little dated and worn but it is very clean with towels changed every day and sheets on bed made up each day. good wifi, lots of hot water day and night. It is not a posh hotel and really more an hotel for the budget conscious traveller that needs somewhere safe and clean..

I thought the location was fantastic. Close to restaurants, Stanley park and hire bike shops as well as the station and port. The two different rooms we had two weeks apart were clean and comfortable. The first one was a suite, more expensive but very spacious. The staff were very helpful giving us maps of the area, recommending restaurants when we asked and allowing us to store our cases when we had checked out but allowing us to continue sight seeing.

This boutique hotel is a blast from the past. Funky stairwells, wide hallways and the character of the building is everywhere. For the price, this hotel was well worth a visit. The bed was comfy and the room was very clean. We had to ask for a kettle so we could make coffee in our room in the morning (we brought our own supplies - cups, coffee, cream & sugar. There's a Tim Hortons 1/2 a block away & a Cora's breakfast 2 doors down.
